Ear Health Check

Not sure whether you need ear wax removal? An ear health check is a professional otoscopic examination of your ears at home, so you know where you stand before deciding on treatment.

What is an ear health check?

Using magnified vision, the clinician examines your ear canals and eardrums and explains what they can see. It is ideal if you are unsure whether wax is the cause of blocked or reduced hearing.

What it includes

  1. A brief history of your ear and hearing concerns
  2. An otoscopic examination of both ears
  3. Clear advice on whether wax removal or another step is appropriate

Honest, no-pressure advice

If your ears are healthy and clear, you will be told so. If wax removal is needed, the clinician will explain the most suitable method, microsuction or irrigation.
